System administrators can create content on behalf of a
tenant by adopting a tenant ID.
About this task
As a system administrator, you might need to create content
on behalf of a tenant. The entries that are created inherit the tenant
ID of the impersonated tenant.
Procedure
- Ensure that you are logged off from IBM® Cognos® Connection.
- Click the Log on link in IBM Cognos Connection.
- In the Log on page, append the following
parameters to the page URL:
&CAMTenantID=impersonated_tenant_ID
For
example, type &CAMTenantID=tenant1
- Press Enter and continue the logon
process.
Results
If you are a system administrator, the impersonated tenant
ID is displayed with your name in the Cognos Connection
header. Now, any content that you create will be assigned to the tenant
that you are impersonating.
