Run a Data Movement Entry

You can manually run a data movement entry at any time to perform the Data Manager tasks that it includes.

You can also schedule data movement entries. For more information, see Schedule Management.

Before you begin

You must have the required permissions for the data movement entry. For more information, see Secured Functions and Features.

Procedure

  1. In IBM Cognos Connection, click the run with options button Run with options icon on the actions toolbar next to the data movement entry you want to run.
  2. Under Time, select Now to run the data movement entry now, or Later to specify a later date and time.
  3. Click Run.

    The confirmation page appears.

  4. Click OK.
