Dynamic Query Mode
IBM® Cognos® BI Server offers improved
query functionality and performance with a dynamic query mode that
you can use with supported data sources.
Dynamic query mode provides communication to data sources using Java/XMLA connections. For more information, see Data Sources and Connections.
The query service supports the dynamic query mode. Using Cognos Administration, you can set query service properties and manage query service caching. For more information, see Query Service Administration.
